Liam B's Kaituna camp
My kaituna camp all started in the car we were going to Halswel Quarry. First we had to carry a rock up a tiny hill and on the way we stopped for toliet and every one piled on there rocks on my arm.It didn't hurt at the start but it stared to hurt. Then we learned some facts from the olden days. Then we looked threw the international gardens. We had lunch and then had a little play and we were off.
When we got to camp the other class was still there so we went down to the stream Liam K found a swing and everyone wanted to go on. I had a go and it was fun but when I had a go I got soaked because you went over the water.
Water watch was really fun as well I was in a group with Ella M, Ronjay and Ian.We used thes water temp things and had to right the temp down in a booklets. After that we went catching insects and we put them in sections of bugs we had 3 huge tailbitters 1 girl and 2 male. They were attacking each other to try to show of to the lady.We put them back in the water and went to find how many water the rain poured.Water watch had finish and the people who were teaching us was off.
That night we didn't have a good night sleep I only go 1 hour sleep and not much others got 4 hours. No one could sllep because the stream made noise and it was so windy. It felt like it was a whole yeah that night and I had a massive Spaz attack.
The next morning we had to do a 7 hour walk and I was in the front group the whole time and so was Ella M. When we got off the road Erin and Daniel came up and they were in the front group the whole time since then. When we got up the summit Erin, Daniel, Ella M and I all got up at the same time. At the summit I found a huge rock and I droped and it cracked to a big rock and I carried it 3/4 up the mountain. It just started to hurt my arm so I chucked it away. I was 3rd equal up the mountain with Ian who just got up when we were on Mt Herbet on the way down Lily Heze Liam K Ella M and I played truth and dare.
That night everyone slept for tones I mean I slept fo 9 hours.
We left the next day and i really enjoyed my Kaituna camp.
